PFA Chandigarh seeks your assistance in the construction of the Gaushalla in Patiala, which is currently housing 141 deserted cows, bulls and calves. This was being run by the Municipal Corporation of Patiala and was then handed over to our Organization on 24th September 2010. Since then we have undertaken a lot of repair and renovation work so as to provide immediate relief and facilities to the animals in the said Gaushalla

The Gaushalla handed over to us by the Municipal Corporation Patiala, will now be built by our Organization, the current infrastructure includes 4 sheds and 3 rooms only.

We will now be building a total new set- up which will provide all the facilities for the cows, bulls and calves at the said Gaushalla, which is spread over 1.5 acres. The new infrastructure would include separate sections for cows, bulls and calves, with special arrangement for sick and handicapped animals. We would also be providing separate fodder rooms, operation theatre and treatment room, along with proper and systematic cleaning processes.

In order to raise funds for the construction of this – Gaushalla, we are offering a series of special paintings (acrylic on canvas) that have been done by Chandigarh’s renowned artist- Shri. Madan Lal. These paintings are based on journey of human beings, depicting energy dominance and power to rule on the universe some time in form of Nandi of Shiva, some time with Krishna….. according to our mythology our earth is stable on the horn of bull.

The funds generated from the sale of these beautiful paintings will go towards the construction of the PFA Chandigarh Gauashram in Patiala. It is important to mention that all donations are entitled to tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
