PFA Chandigarh started its own ambulance service on 17 th November 1997, called 'Jeev Rakshak Seva'. This service is available for 24 hours and covers Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Zirakpur, Derrabassi, Chandimandir, Pinjore and near by areas. This is the first and only such service for the animals in this region.
