The Chandigarh Police in association with People for Animals, Chandigarh, launched –The Animal Cruelty Complaint Collection Window on the 14th of December 2011.
All complaints with regard to an act of cruelty towards animals in the City, will now be submitted in writing every Wednesday at this collection window from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm, at the Chandigarh Police Head quarters, sector- 9, Chandigarh.

PFA Chandigarh launched Mera Mitr Campaign in Mohali

On the occasion of World Animals Day PFA Chandigarh launches Mera Mitr Campaign in association with Municipal Corporation Mohali, GMADA & Mohali Administration. This campaign will run from 4th October to 5th November 2011. During this campaign free anti-rabies vaccination will be administered to street and pet dogs in Mohali.

People for Animals Chandigarh launches its new ambulance
People for Animals Chandigarh launched its new ambulance Ape Mini Truck Piaggio on 30th April 2011; this was launched by the Chief Secretary of Punjab – Sh. S.C. Aggarwal.

This ambulance is a part of the existing Jeev Rakshak Seva, which is a 24 hours service run by People for Animals Chandigarh for the rescue of sick & injured street animals.
