PFA Chandigarh initiates Mera Mitr Campaign in Chandigarh

PFA Chandigarh has launched a special Campaign, titled- Mera Mitr, in Chandigarh, in association with the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh.

The objectives of this Campaign are mentioned below:

       1. On the spot registration of pets.
       2. Free administration of anti rabies vaccination to all pets & street dogs.
       3. Circulation of free health cards for all pets.
       4. Free sterilization of street dogs.

During this Campaign, camps are been organized in various wards of Chandigarh. Each camp is for a period of 2 days and the local residents get their pets for on the spot registration and free vaccination.

In addition to this, PFA Chandigarh, would also be catching the street the dogs (male & female) from each sector for the Animal Birth Control Project. As per the new ABC Technique, the dogs would be released after a period of 2-3 days i.e. after sterilization, and vaccination. All the dogs, which would be sterilized, would be given identification marks too.

This Campaign is being supported by My FM 94.3 Mhz & Coca Cola.
